Looks like somebody didn’t get the memo that when you sit on Santa’s lap he only gives you a candy cane. Merry Christmas. May you be more satisfied with your gifts than this little guy was, and less willing to show it if you’re not.

Liz has the most adorable baby belly and I was so happy to help her capture these memories.
For some reason, my picture with both her kids won’t post (sorry Little Charles!!), but you can see from the above shot of her daughter that she’s going to have a darling baby. Can’t wait to meet the little one! Congrats Liz and Charles.

8 fantastic kids. I really tried to get one with everyone looking at the camera, I promise!
I’ll admit, I was a little skeptical about trying the pyramid pose. When they suggested it, I had visions of falling children. But it sounded like fun, so we went for it. We didn’t get the little guy all the way on top, but I’d say we get an “A” for effort.
And since this post is for you, Amanda:
Okay, Amanda, now I need to know what you think! Leave me a comment so I know you saw these.
Giddy. That’s how I feel when I get home, pull my pictures up on the computer, and see confirmation that I got what I wanted out of a photo shoot. I’m so excited to play with the pictures and even more excited to share them with the family. We had a lucky break for this session in that we had it scheduled for 10:30 on a very rainy day. At 10:00, I said, “okay, we’ll go to the park with the gazebo so if the rain gets any worse we can still get in a few dry shots.” At 10:25, the clouds broke, the sun was shining, and we went back to the original plan to shoot downtown. I’m so glad we did. The two downtown shots from my last post are definitely some of my favorites so far. What do you think? Which shots catch your eye?
